All you accessory fans, list your favorite mains cables.

Mine is Audio Friendly's Silver Mains Cable (Ebay). £15 for a great looking, well made cable you can be proud of hanging out the back of your rack 🙂

Forget those cheap, tacky and nasty looking kettle leads the tight fisted, fun hating and utterly boring anti-cable-brigade are so fond of and have some pride.

Get a bit of bling and you may find it sounds better too 🙂

LOL. The thing is my kettle lead is on display in the kitchen for all to see and can't be replaced. What do I do?

I can't see any of the hifi cables.

My favourite mains leads are the ones I made myself.

Furutech mains lead with furutech plug and IEC, with a nice black braid.

Cool. Perhaps a bit above my budget.

Hi Drummerman, do blingy upgraded mains leads make real sonic gains?

Nope. None whatsoever. The mains cable only has to be adequately rated and safe, which, incidentally, many of the aftermarket ones are not.

It doesn't affect the sound because no signal travels through it.

Try one

Might have to for the sake of £15 🙂 i currently have one of those mains cleaner thingy mi bobs, i bought it from maplins ages ago, i cant hear anything from that either lol

my bling bling cable cost me £2500 10 years ago xlo limited edition, this will give you nay sayers something to ***** about lol

I hope your £2500 cable has an equally exotic system, room & listeners ears to justify the expense and that you feel the benefit of said cable is worth the outlay. If so, I guess you are 'bragging' otherwise you are admitting to wasting your money. Either way, most people would be ill-advised to spend morethan a modest amount for cables and especially mains leads. (IMO)

Not really. Do you reply to Nigerian emails too? :O)

We won't *****, we just think you're stupid.

You only need normal hearing and average acoustics to hear how XLO improves a system Robin Kidderminster.

You just need deep pockets to get some after you have heard them as you wont want to take them out

Seems like your hearing is as good as your spelling and grammar. A quick count gives twenty four mistakes in four lines.
