starting in room acoustics for small room

Ok so my room is 13x11x10 feet. I have been using 2.0 without acoustics but cant hear dialogue much even at 70 volume. Now want to start in acoustics and for front wall behind speakers chosen 5 inches thick 2feetx4feet panel. My question is it has rockwool density only 40. I will be setting subwoofer crossover frequency at 80hz. So from 80hz to 400hz will this density be enough or not?

I think you've got bigger problems than the density of your acoustic panel. Would suggest your system thinks it is in 3.0 and thus not sending dialogue to your L and R speakers. Probably worth investigating.
