AV receivers are more my kind of thing. 👍 They separate music better.I thought you would find it tinny.

British Amps do have a certain sound signature .At least you know now how good your Amp is.AV receivers are more my kind of thing. 👍 They separate music better.
Yes, if I do buy something now it will be a brand new Sony AN1000 av receiver.British Amps do have a certain sound signature .At least you know now how good your Amp is.
maybe stick with Japanese Brands if you try again.
Some people, used to AV amps, will stick with them. Personally I think they aren't much cop in a stereo system and you're paying for unnecessary facilities. Unless also using them in an AV set-up of course.Yes, if I do buy something now it will be a brand new Sony AN1000 av receiver.
Did just see this Sony stereo receiver:Some people, used to AV amps, will stick with them. Personally I think they aren't much cop in a stereo system and you're paying for unnecessary facilities. Unless also using them in an AV set-up of course.
A good stereo amp driving suitable speakers that have been set up correctly should be better.
Still not sure how that will help unless you can do a home audition with one.Did just see this Sony stereo receiver:

Yep, and I don’t like returning stuff even though I do it quite a bit. I suppose I don’t need many things and everything I have is really good, so it’s a though task to replace unless I spend a lot of money which I don’t have. I maxed out my credit card for 3 months to buy this amp and the Apple headphones which are a success - thank God. 🙂Still not sure how that will help unless you can do a home audition with one.
I wasn’t sure again where the speaker cables went. 🙂Why dont you get a Stereo Sony Amp rather than AV its makes more sense.

I might well be thinking to hook all my speakers back up to the Pioneer VSA-LX805 amp again and just mix how I listen to it. And forget to having a second amp, that makes sense.
To be honest it was my dad who said the Cambridge Audio was rubbish I was in 2 minds over it. And if he can’t put up with the noise of it downstairs I haven’t got much hope with it. So he said return it which happens a lot with my returns and cancellations.take your time part of the fun Gel.
I think I will keep the Cambridge Audio but will just have to turn it down a lot. 🙂Maybe worth getting your ears checked Gel ,a quick ear syringe will make a huge diffrence .Im sure Boots do it .
