The best materials are being used already. Copper and silver. The only research the foo cable companies are undertaking is how to take the mugs that buy them for even more money. Why would i let the resistance thing go when I'm correct?

Its like anything. Example some say all optical cables are the same - made from glass, right.

And believe the argument stops there. Fact is you have different grades of glass - the more refined the more it cost the better it is ad a conductor in an SDH application.....

Not quite: more than a few are made from plastic.

What happens then is that when someone says something genuinely useful which others can learn from (I mean of course myself ;-) ) it is snowed under.

If you want to learn something genuine about the properties of cables a WHF forum thread is the last place you should look for infomation. Personally I only read them for the entertainment value. They're the literary equivalent of watching Eastenders.

For real educational information on the subject of cables I advise you borrow a book from the library about electronics and ignore forum threads altogether.

I quite like victoria sponge too. Especially if it was cooked in an oven that's just slightly too hot so that you get a hint of crispyness to the edges of the sponge. Mmmmm. 😀
