Nice one BBB.

They say bad things happen for a reason - to make way for better things.

Who wants a poxy Rega anyway

Well, not me. But I would quite like a refund on a Rega though.

No Concept yet, and still no refund from MA. Not good enough seeing as they've had the turntable back a week now.

Well, they've replied to my email from this luchtime, and they claim that the refund was issued this morning, but it's not showing up on my online banking.

Maybe these things take a few days to process, I'm not sure, I'll check again on Monday.

I wouldn't want to put people off using MA, and I have had much much worse experiences than this one, but I am a bit disappointed with the quality of service I've received.

Though some of my previous posts might suggest the opposite, I have never doubted that I would get my money back, unlike another company I dealt with, when I had to fight like crazy to get a my money back on an item that was never supplied.

In these days of electronic commerce I would have thought instant refund would be what we get.

But the banks don't seem to want to give us this feature.

As seen in the news, the banks want to wield power over us and blatantly rip us off for their own fat cat bonuses.

Sorry to let off steam, but its not good enough in todays electrion gigahertz computing age.

It's not a problem with technology, but with greed. The longer the bank takes to transfer the money, the more profit it makes. Simples.

So do I, but I don't think he's even posted it yet.

I hate ebay sellers (like this one), who insist on payment within 24 hours, but then take 3 or 4 days to post the item.

oh no, hope it all goes smoothly!

I sold my RP3 on ebay, posted it the same day as payment - I even sent pics of the different stages of packing. He got it the next day (courier) and was over the moon with it!

He'll be getting an email if it's not with me tomorrow, especially as I paid an extortionate amount for insured 24 hour delivery.

Why do I get all the c**ks to deal with?

Did he put a despatch time in his eBay ad?

This really gets on my nerves, stuff being late off eBay when they all stipulate immediate payment, which I always do!

That's exactly how it should be done, I find it bloody annoying when the money goes straight into the sellers account within minutes and, as has been mentioned, they wait until they are good and ready to post it |(

I'm sure you'll have it soon and will be as happy as a kid in a candy store with your new, nice toy.

All good things come to those that wait ... and pay for it.

The listing states an estimated 4 working days. (Although I have no idea why it should take that long.)

I also don't know why you paid the insurance.

When I sold anything of that value on ebay, I charged the postage to the buyer but the insurance was for my benefit so I always paid that part myself.

I haven't done it often but my customers were all happy.

1. To me, it's verging on moronic to use a 24 hour delivery service, and then take 4 days or more, to actually post it.

2. Because it's expensive, and he states that he wasn't going to..

There have been a couple of "slight seconds" RP6 on eBay recently — but have been put off buying such things by this thread.

I was waiting for some to become available but — hmmmm — only if I can see it first I think.

Collect, that way you see what you get and transporting the fragile thing is in your own capable hands..

I would not get a turntable couriered to me again.
