Question about hanging my TV

I have a 46hx903 and i am about to move house, im going to be letting this house of a friend of mine, now he has his TV haning on the wall and will be leaving the brackets for me if i want to hang mine, what kind of questions should i be asking him? please bear in mind that although the hx903 is an LED LCD it has a glass screen cover so it weighs about the same as a plasma, around 46kg i think.

Any suggestions would be greatly apreaciated

46kg, never in a month of Sunday's, around 30kg with out the stand I bet. But to answer your question, you need to know if it is suitable for your size of TV for a start, not for a 30"ish to 42" set. What spacing the connection to the TV is suitable for I.e 400 x 400 VESA ( you would need to check this matches yours), how it is fixed to the wall, for example is it a brick wall with heavy duty fixing or a plaster board wall with special expanding fixings.

It also maybe as simple as asking the model number of the TV it was holding up previously, it may be the same size or bigger and heavier, then it should be no problem holding yours up there.
