I have a panasonic sa- nc9 audio system and was wondering peoples opinions on the sound quality of it, i think it is the best sounding system panasonic has made

These days I don't feel as though Panasonic are particularly well regarded when it comes to audio. It's a shame really, I still have a set of my dad's old Technics SB400 speakers from the early 70s, and I'd say they were pretty decent back in the day. Having said that, I have heard their SCPMX9 and I think it's pretty reasonable for a micro hifi.

I was looking at that particular system as i do like how my system sounds just i have a small child and dont need something as big anymore

they kind of do, they called their hifi 'technics' and they made some damn good stuff
