Help. I have prucahsed the above speakers and need to connect to an Onkyo 606. Can some kind person tell me what make of speaker cable would be suitable?

I'll second that. I use the QED SA XT and its more than adequate.

Also from experience, if you are planning on using the stands for the satellites, the XT cable does fit quite nicely. Any wider cabling and you might have an issue.

Do I need a different type of cable for the sub woofooer?

Yeah you need a phono cable, any QED should suffice such as the Performance SW Cable (£30 approx). Or you could just use any old phono cable at the expense of quality.

Thanks for that. HiFi shop is trying to sell me subwoofer cable at £7.5 per metre- does that sound right?

Sounds reasonable but is it branded? I've tended to go for pre packed fixed length in the past.

Well a 3m QED Performance SW is about £30, so that sounds about right
