any gurus still awake probs not, here's my question's neway-: does the Chord Co 1.3a silver plus hdmi cable support 12bit deep colour & Pioneer's new BDP-LX71 is it Profile1.1 or 2.0

Yes, the Chord cable is to HDMI 1.3 spec, so it will support Deep Color, and the Pioneer is Profile 1.1, but with an Ethernet port for 'imminent' firmware upgrades, as reported here.
