ATC SCM40 Mk2 advice needed

Currently running a Krell S-350a (balanaced output) to Krell S-300i, which feeds the aforementioned speakers. If I changed to ATC electronics, which would be the best way to go?

1. Keep Krell S-350a and change to ATC SIA2-150.

2. Keep Krell S-350a and change to ATC CA2 Mk2 and P1.

3. Replace all Krell with ATC CDA2 and P1.

4. Not replace Krell, as benefit would be marginal to negligible.

I do wish to change the speakers as, in my opinion, are so good. If anyone can think of a better alternative than listed, then please post a reply. I hope someone can give me some advice, as the nearest ATC dealer is quite some distance from me. Thank you in anticipation, of any replies.

Or in the first instance hold on to the Krell CDP/amp and replace curved passive SCM40 monitors with active curved SCM40 monitors. Then look at replacing the Krell components with a CDA2.

I did consider the active route, before puchasing the passive ATC SCM40 MK2. One thing that put put me off was the weight increase, hernia inducing, and flexibility. Besides not living near an ATC dealer, it is even harder to find a dealer that stocks Krell and ATC. Have you heard the Krell CD player and amp. If so, can you give me an idea of the change would be to ATC electronics. What would be the best option from those I listed with the SCM40.

If you want to stay with passive ATCs, what about Hegel amplification?
