I've bought 2 octo LNB's. Will there be a difference in picture quality between the cheaper £15 one and the expensive £60 one when viewing freesat?

Thanks

If yo can afford both, you can also probably afford a dual arm and a length of cable, so why not rig up a dual set up and try it!

Im going to set it up tonight so will post findings when i can! I'll just change over the LNB's.

My only problem is, knowing me i'll prob knock the dish and mess the signal up, especially when i'll be changing over 3 LNB's!

Hay-ho i'll give it a go!

I bought the £60 one (with a £10 discount due to damaged packaging) from Maplins which it says is a universal one http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=octo&source=15&SD=Y#features (I cant see a make on the website as im at work and dont have the LNB's with me, i'm guessing its their own) and one from e-bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160270485565&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=006 (again i cant see a make).

I didnt have time to rig them up last night - im off work tomorrow so will do it then!

Tried them and i couldnt see a difference. Checked out the signal test in the system setup and the signal stength and quality are the same as before. I currently have the cheaper one installed. It came with all the fixings whereas the £60 one didnt.

Cant seem to get ITV HD though but i've got BBC 1 HD at it looks great. Hoping there are going to be some more, decent HD channels on freesat.....soon. Toying with the idea of getting SKY HD but only if they come up with some amazing offer!

i know there has been problems with certain stb recieving itv hd, on some stb you have to manally enter the polarity and frequencies to recieve it, if you google your reciever make and model and look for itv hd settings you find the info you need. also try this link, normally a good source for satellite info http://www.bigdishsat.com/news.php, also if u need the fittings to make the lnb fit your sky dish see here http://www.dastv.co.uk/LNB_Holders_Brackets.php
