Upscaling Chip on Denon 1910??

Hello, I have the Denon 1910, and I cannot find what chip is used for the upscaling??

The USA version uses Anchor Bay technology, so I assumed that the UK version did also, or is it the case that the USA version has the superior features yet again

I would say u assumed correctly! if the usa version has it, then definitly uk version has as well.

really hard to say for sure tho. There are subtle differences - eg the USA 1909 has a hard-wired mains cable, whereas the UK one has a plug-in one. Don't bother asking Denon tho... they never reply to any customer queries.

Anyway, rest assured all is well with the world: the AVR-1910 uses this one.

excellent, would you let the Bluray player upscale(Sony 550) or the Denon??

I'd try both, but I think you'll probably settle on letting the BD player do it.
