Tannoy precision positioning

Hi,

is that possible that precisions will be positioned well if front of them will be aimed straight on listener legs (as is on the photo) ? Or there is a mistake on tannoys manual?

What they suggest is just that, a suggestion. It will not work for all people or for all rooms.

I would feel free to experiment. Personally, with this type of speaker I'd have them closer together than shown in the diagram and less toed-in (i.e. with cross-over point slightly behind head). There are no hard and fast rules.
