New Cambridge Stream Magic 6 v2 recently announced

I noticed on the Cambridge Audio website today there is a new Stream Magic 6 V2 unit out which will stream over Ethernet 24/192k. Not seen it yet on Richer Sounds.

I contacted CA support but sadly you cannot upgrade your original Stream Magic 6. That's a shame. I'll have to think whether I want to spend another £700 just to get 24/192k Ethernet playback.

I reckon GBP600. In fact, it looks like it may now be imminent. If you see Richer Sounds website they are already clearing the Stream Magic 6 with significant reductions if you are a VIP member.

It looks like the V2 will provide everything we originally wanted from the original BUT provide (for those that want it) 192/24 streaming

An AVR will do all that the SM6 does, but at a much lower price.
