Leema Pulse + RS6

I decided to achieve a serious upgrade from current system, I'm going to need to blow my current budget.

Would the above mix have good synergy? bare in mind that the speakers will be upgraded to probably PMC, Spendor or Proac. Certainly the Leema ticks all my boxes (Oooh, Matron). It's lean, detailed and fast - oh, let's not forget the built-in phono stage.

you'll have to wait for someone with a cd-1, but the moon "sound" seems to be slightly warm, tonally (as well as natural, dynamic and refined)- so might match well with the "lean" leema.

Thanks Craig. All the reviews seem to suggest they would be a good match; I'm trying to think outside of my normal sonic comfort zone.

PP,

May I suggest a different route? I've listened to the avi adm9.1 and in my experience they are lean, detailed and very fast. They also have very accurate imaging.

I have thought of active speakers, but decided against them as they are, in the main, geared to PC reproduction. All my stuff, CDP apart, is analogue. Although the other half would fall over (metaphorically speaking) if I was to go down the active route.

I see your point. They only have one line in connection.

It's good to have alternatives, so thanks. I love the look of the Leema Pulse, according to the reviews it seems to do all I want from an amp. I'm not sure what CDP would match (not Leema - too obvious) with the Pulse.

VoodooDoctor:There's a black Leema Pulse being auctioned on Ebay...
