Keith Emerson RIP

Another Icon of progressive rock gone - 71 years old I think. I heard some of his music when he was with (the) Nice. But mostly knew his music from Emerson Lake and Palmer. Their first album simply titled Emerson Lake and Palmer is still a favourite. Also his arrangement and performance of Mussorgski's Pictures at an Exhibition.

Very sad news.

There is a marvellous tribute on the Facebook page of concert pianist, Peter Donohoe. It would be wrong to post it here, but worth reading by any fans of Keith.
