Moondmadness, by Camel. One of my favourite albums but it's been a while since I played it. Coming back to it last night was hugely enjoyable.

Mac, I agree completely about the Rhiannon Giddens album. It really is superb.

Picked up the 2014 Mono LP release of Please Please Me The Beatles yesterday, have to say this is just a stunning release even down to the gold and black reproduction labels and lamanated rap around sleeve.

Just one more thing, found this excellent and very active HiFi forum here:

Great choice. I'm a big Camel fan, and in Andy Latimer a very much underated musician.

After a week of frustrations and feeling near bubbling point quite a bit, I indulged in 'Someone Here Is Missing' by The Pineapple Thief on my drive to work this morning. I think most of the M1 in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire probably heard it too. Great band, and they were outstanding live when I saw them a few years ago. They have a new live DVD/CD due for release in September and I'm very much looking forward to that.

Hi Matthew, I can picture the musical notes flying out of the car windows! Hope you are well and enjoying your new role, post Forsyths.

Better than the usual stuff you hear blasting out of car windows!

Your Wilderness is my favourite album of theirs.
