Susanne Sundfor - Take One.

An absolutely beautiful live recording of Susanne Sundfor playing the Piano / guitar and singing in a room with a microphone .

She is better known for her complex but beautiful electronic music but this cd is the polar opposite.

I have just managed to pick up a copy of this rare Cd direct from Norway and I am a very happy bunny. *i-m_so_happy*

Utterly captivating ! I think you might like this one Mac.

There's a really nice Susanne Sundfor track on this month's Uncut free CD. It's called Undercover and from the Music For People In Trouble album.

.

Yes that's the single she released as a taster for her new album out soon .

I have just bagged a couple of tickets to see her live at the Union Chapel in October.

I think all the normal ticket sellers have sold out now but you can still get tickets direct from the Union Chapel but hurry they won't be around for long .

I can't seem to avoid her at the moment. I turned on the car radio this morning on 5Live and there she was performing in the studio and chatting away. She sounds very nice in a quirky type of way. She mentioned the Union Chapel gig too.

When I first started buying albums - I had two standards on which all others were judged -

Abbey Road - Beatles[/b] and Led Zeppelinn 2 [/b]Obviously things change over time - but in my earlier music loving days! They set the standard!

Rosemary and Garlic - The Kingfisher.

I know Mac it's a shame that so many new artists don't make albums any more just EP's and singles which is ok for spotify as you can make up your own album playlist but if you want to physically own the album you can't buy it .

I think many very good artists and songs will be forgotten over time because there will be no physical media to collect them on and they will dissapear into the ether.

Pete Kuzma - Equilibrium .

The tracks are quite long so don't judge by the first couple of minutes of each track or you will missing out, just relax and enter the zone .
