Had a couple of listens and a bit disappointed with it compared to the last two albums.....also only 8 tracks...I won't be paying 22quid for it on vinyl....that's for sure.."this is all yours"still their best work to date imo.Macspur said:

'Folk Songs', a new album by Kronos Quartet, featuring collaborations with Natalie Merchant, Olivia Chaney, Rhiannon Giddens, and Sam Annion. Really nice arrangements, as you would expect from Kronos, and the singing throughout is lovely.
Also 'Close Ties', the latest from Rodney Crowell. Some very personal songwriting on this one, and very nicely communicated. It's so good I bought my Dad a copy as part of his birthday gift.
