Two cables into Humax hdr

I have just connected a second cable to my Humax hdr(two cables from dish) and was hoping to be able to record 2 progs at same time but still find I can`t, do I have to do factory reset for box to recognise second cable. Dont want to do that because of losing all recordings. Could anybody please advise. Many thanks

You need to do a factory reset to get the HDR to recognise the second cable has been connected.

You won't lose your recordings by doing so, it will wipe any recording schedules though, so make a note of any you have set up and set them back up after doing the reset.
