Speakers for bi amped Linn LK140

Naim CD5i (not i )   

Linn Kolektor pre amp

Two Linn LK140s bi amped to Quad 12Ls on Partington Super Dreadnought stands

REL Stampede sub woofer which I use for stereo use as well as surround sound  

Cable Talk 6n’s Cable

Missing Link Cryo Interconects

Missing Link mains purifier

Stands Unique Equipment rack

Silver plated mains cables

 

I am keen to get the best out of bi-amping and I think the weakest link are the Quad speakers on the basis that the amp set-up costs considerably more than the £500 spent on the speakers (a few years ago).  I am very pleased with the sound but I think there is more to get from the amps.

Floor stand speakers would be a challenge, but replacing the Quad 12Ls with a better standmounter would mean I can keep the stands.  What would you recommend?      

 Room size 4.9 m X 4.65 m

 The room also has a 43inch Pioneer Quad 11L rears and Quad Centre

 

Budget around £1500 music tastes are most things but not classical

Yep as soon as I sent it I forgot to mention the budget. ÿI think £1500 and music is most things but not classical.
