just seen a sony kdl46hx903 display model advertised at £2300 managed to barter to £1975 + half price 3d bundle

any thoughts on buying display models.

I think that display would have had a years worth of use !! and it is not a million miles of the price of a new one, bearing in mind Sony was selling this TV at £2200 when it originally came out i don't think they are doing you much of a deal !!!

Save a bit longer and get a new one. or get a Samsung UE 46C8000 , fantastic TV, and can be had for about £1600 with a load of goodies thrown in.

I wouldnt touch it at that price

Heck, I wouldnt touch a 2nd hand tv anyways unless it was a pioneer

thanks for the replies the tv was seen at sonic direct will wait to see what the new sony models review like hpoefully they are out in the spring.
