Sony DAV-IS10 speaker cable

I have a Sony DAV-IS10 which I'm looking to wall mount the speakers and hide the speaker cable within the wall. To do this I will need to disconnect the cable from the speaker. Has anybody tried doing this? It looks like it opens up straight forwardly, but I'm concerned about voiding my warranty?

Given that p27 of the manual shows you how to do just this, for just this eventuality, no, I don't think it will invalidate your warranty.
