My Rega Saturn and Sugden A21 turned up yesterday and what a rich sound these components make. They create just the right balance between warm, detailed and with a superb tight base!
The dealer did bring round some ProAc studio 110's and Spendor S3-5R's for me to demo and I was very disappointed with the ProAcs, but the Spendor's sounded excellent, particularly for the size of them, but not enough of a difference from my B&W's to warrent the expenditure.
I'm intrigued now to see what a difference the Spendor SA1 reference speaker will make, but it'll just have to wait.
