Merlin: burn in and demagnetisation?!

After purchasing a Rega Apollo a few weeks ago it might be time to upgrade my old QED QUNEX1 interconnect. I've been looking at Merlin due to their great reviews; their website offers a number of services and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the processes and if its even worth getting: they offer a professional cable burn in for £15 and demagnetisation for a further £5. Any comments would be welcome!

Also, has anyone got any experience of Merlin cables? They've got a sale on right now and are doing a 0.5m verdi cable for only £75 (rather than £200!), which seems tempting, although I am slightly sceptical of pricey cables.

Cant comment on the RCAs but my Black Widow block and cables made a big difference to the noise floor and the c12 speaker cables are a lot easier to listen to than my previous QED silvers. All in all ive had a very positive experience with Merlin. If johns still there he is the person to talk to on cable compatability.

The big problem with cables is the fact they are system dependent , you could take the risk in purchase and hear no difference or be pleasantly surprised. Of course they do 30 day return.
