Kef 104ab or kef 103 .2

Hi

Has anyone heard both of these?,which are better and in what way are they better.

I have the 104 already but havn't had them long and have only compared them to two other speakers- epos and castles,kefs were better than both.

Also ,is there anupto date similar equivalent of these speakers,what would I need to pay to better them?.

I used to have the Kef 104 aB, which was an upgraded version of the 104 (different parts in the crossover, you could ask at Kef, how to do that).

I' am curious which Epos you compared to, because they are at least much better in the mid and high freq, and i think in the bass department too!

As you say you only have the Kef's for a short time, i suggest you take some more time to listen and try some different positioning and toe-in to optimise sound. They are famous representers of the old British "brown" sound.
