If you had bought the Samsung 4K blu ray player instead, you would have got a free 4K disc of The Martian.gel said:Imported. It's a new trend. *smile*nugget2014 said:gel said:I bought them on 4K.nugget2014 said:gel said:Hi mate, cheers! It was calibrated at the shop, but I don't mind I quite like the calibrated settings I was using on the forums anyway. Worse comes to the worse I will pay Canary Jules to do the calibration again. Just bought two new movies The Martian and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Don't do Netflix or Amazon Prime. Might watch a few movies on Netflix if I can get it to work! *smile*rocketrazor said:Gel, over the moon for you mate, should be a great set. Not sure it's worth the price personally but if your happy then all is good. Just make sure you keep this one yeah. I hope it's not an impulse buy like I've been reading the last few months.
Where is it being calibrated, I do hope at yours and not the shop?
Also are you planning on spending £30 per movie for 4K discs to watch on your nice new 65" 4K OLED TV now you have ordered a player as well. Do you have Netflix or Amazon Prime currently?

What's the point of buying the Martian and asm2 on 1080p blu ray when they will be out in the next (hopefully) few weeks to a month on 4k?
from uk? or imported from usa? because they aren't out yet in UK..
