hi all

i have a pair of very old speakers, Tamon, and i would like giving them a try with my Audiolab gear. I am afraid of doing that because i dont really understand impedance and current etc. How can i know if ok? what shall i do ? perhaps this question is silly but i have no clue. speakers areabout 30 years old, got them from my father, have some switches on them you can adjust mids and highs from.

thanks a lot

As long as they are not short circuit then no harm. Try them at low volumes I guess. Test for short using multimeter if worried. Should read in few ohms region.
