Hi nopiano

All of our Hegel ROST, H360 and HD30 stock which I busted a gut to ensure it was there for Friday morning. The speakers used were Amphion.

Btw, our Bristol show ROST will be added to our offers list in due course at what I believe will be a terrific price *smile*

All the best

Rick @ Musicraft
Yes, I nearly wrote that I believed you’d bailed them out. Their stuff was in customs or something!

Hi nopiano

Yes, in customs.

All the best

Rick @ Musicraft

Why are you flogging off Hegel's at cost
Why are you struck off the UK dealer list?

As a Hegel owner now for more than a year ...

I really like how the H360 takes control over the speakers, and the sound is very good compared to my previous hifi-sets.

But the problem is, I bought my Hegel mainly for streaming and to get rid of all those components with over-expensive cables in the room.

I'd have to say I'm quite disappointed in the streaming part. Compared to even cheaper gear, the Hegel isn't very stable.

There's still no Hegel-app, so I ended up using Bubble & Minimsever (which works better than twonky here).

Despite I selected 'gapless' there's still some gaps between tracks from time to time. There's also zero info from updates.

There have been many complaints about the streaming-part (which is the main reason I bought it), but Hegel completely ignores the issues. I'm not the only one, there have been complaints at duch and french audioforums.

Hegel responded only 1 time, that streaming is not the main priority for their gear but they consider it more like an extra. They confirmed that using a cd-player would have better results. So why are they promoting it as a streamer, and say afterwards that the sound is inferior to other sources afterwards?

Suggest give Rick a call. I'm sure he'll answer all your questions. Some things are not meant for public fora.

He wont speak to me
He has banned me from his shop lol and accused me of all-sorts of stuff for posting stuff on this forum regards speakers.
He also wouldn't have dealt with my Hegel if it had issues and told me (via watsap message) that I need to deal with Hegel direct should should a problem arise
That's why I sold it.

Now do you really think he's going to tell me?

I'll dig up the very thread if you want?

You can read his subtle warnings to me lol

It's a thread regarding new speakers and driver size

And now he's not a Hegel.dealer

Sorry to hear that Andrew. I didn't know there was so much to it.

There are always two sides to everything. Just saying.

As to the dealership, dealers are constantly changing products.

@Andrewjt Do you know the cost price of Hegel (or other brands?)

For what it is worth, Musicraft explained to me the reasons, however it is not up to me to discuss this openly.

Surely if you have problems with any bit of equipment then you should be dealing with the manufacturer that issued the warranty on said item.

If dealers are marking up up to 75% then that's daylight robbery.

I think there is more to it than that.
I'm thinking of the recent unprovoked trolling at David at little audio company also.

I have memory like an elephant.

"Musicraft is Hegel Music Systems UK Dealer of The Year 2016 and 2015", stated on Musicraft's product list.

If you google "hegel dealers uk", most of the results are about or by Musicraft. However, Musicraft is not on Hegel's UK dealers list, but David's The Little Audio Company is. If you check google cache, Musicraft used to be on the dealer list.

So... what did you do Rick?

Maybe he refused to rip customers off with overpriced hifi products that is a major issue in this field. By not agreeing to follow hegels business model they cancelled his contract? He can still make a profit by cutting their prices in half. Doesn't it say more about Hegel and other companies/dealers who are ripping us off?

Praise the 2017 revolution that ended the fat 2 year award winning Hegel ripoff sales Rick did. His sudden transformation inspired the new Hi-Fi Manifesto. And let us not forget him single handedly battling that capitalist pig davidf!

oink!

Proleteriatcraft™ also sells Naim. It's probably cheaper than LG, super available for the common man. It's hifitopia!

Those prices are only so low recently all of a sudden since not a dealer anymore.

Btw I've paid full RRP for my Hegel h360
So I wouldn't paint him as the Robin Hood of hifi just yet.

It's says:
Important message-anyone who has purchased Hegel music systems H90 from us, please call rick on ........ To discuss about offering a credit towards your h90. This is due to our current H90 price of £482.

Haha what a child

If that's not sore loser attitude what is?

Surely if this was sincere then he would just phone up the chap involved.
But it's a statement.

I'd ask for similar LG prices for all the other brands and see what happens then?????

Lost the plot or what?

Unless you purchased online or filled in a credit agreement in the shop, would Musicraft have customer's contact details?

If you swipe your card instore at John Lewis/Pc World etc. to buy a telly would they have your details other than if perhaps they take them for extended warranties (or to put you on their mailing lists)

Maybe I'm wrong.

More likely Hegel has all that because of warranty registrations and they are hardly going to contact folks to give refunds.

I did however hear Musicrafts side of the story about your dealings with them. - As I said before, it's not up to me to talk about/air this but in light of your constant somewhat aggressive behaviour against the Retailer perhaps it is time for WHS&V to get in contact with Musicraft to form their opinion on whether your rants at every given opportunity are justified?

I believe we all know now that you felt hard done by. Perhaps time to give it a rest?

Let the mods here decide.

So if any of you read this kindly get in contact with the Retailer and the complainant.

Imo Musicraft is doing the right thing by not getting more involved in forum arguments. Pointless. Furthermore your comments could be perceived as slander.

I hope I am not the only one getting bored with this.

Makes me think someone else has been doing the slander

What hifi can ban me from here
I don't care
All I want is to know why I was accused of things I asked I do not think I've done?

There is no back up at all

And yet it's perfectly fine for you and him to discuss me
How do you.know it's false or true.

Everything is written on here
So point me to the part I've done something to be accused of what exactly?

(Well and truly crossing the line)
Is the watsap message.

All from what I wrote on here so I'd like someone to point to me where/when.
