Andrew my friend it’s history you can not change history it’s done with what’s done is done you can only change what happens today and the next

it’s not worth the hassle my friend

All but forgotten until David was trolled a few weeks ago then all the questions arise again.
Think it's best for me to get off this place as I'll never get an answer here.

Plenty of birdseed for drummerman to eat now

I was wondering why drummerman was hounding Andrew for months repeatedly asking for details what went sour with Humanitariancraft, pretending he's suffering from amnesia each time he asked the same thing. I thought it's nosy, impolite, but generally didn't think nothing of it. Now I'm even more weirded out why is drummerman being Rick's secretary. Why is he writing emails, hearing sides of stories etc? Why is he involved at all?

All the best

Miss Moneypenny @ Trannycraft

Guessing he's either hoping to buy, or has bought from musicraft recently. Im curious as to what hes gone for :)

Waiting for a lowly H90. Can't afford the 190 unfortunately. Even at discounted price.

I don't think it will be a great upgrade, if any, on my cyrus & PSX-R. - If it is, the cyrus goes. If not the Schmegel is on its way to the bay or similar.

AE1a's & Pre-amp next.

I would not be so sure...

There's something very interesting about them :)

I don't think he's telling the whole story still. I'm guessing he's been thinking of a 'Schmegel' for a while. And all this effort in meddling to suffocate the uprising...

Oh, the internet drama.

Not at all. I could or would not have considered the brand at full retail.

To be honest, I am really intrigued by Acoustic Energy's AE1 Active. Not least because it's been said it doesn't have the paint stripping sound signature of certain other actives ... and it looks decent imho.

However, all going well, I am happy to be pleasantly surprised by the Scandinavian brand.

You’ll still need a pre-amp/DAC.

Indeed and I would most likely resort to Cyrus for form factor and past experience.

Whichever brand, an integrated employed as a pre-amp is the most cost effective and gives you a backup (with some cheap passives*) if the actives break.

* Just like wire coathangers we all have a spare pair lurking somewhere. Mine are JPW Sonatas.

Owner reports/feedback about the AE1a's are unfortunately very sparse. Proof that actives outside lifestyle products still have a very long way to go to be accepted as proper HiFi in domestic settings.

A couple of folks here bought them.

Anyway, Hegel first hopefully.
