Sadly, because it's ex-Stuff, it's totally bricked. And looking on forums, I find statements such as these:

"how do you do that i dl the sdk but i have no clue on how to use adb if i can force it into bootloader mode to revert to RC-29 i could probably get my phone back working"

Knew I should have had the iPhone...

My Cousin's wife got one of these before Xmas free because she works for Google but was not allowed to use it out in public until it was launched.

I hear you. Though it's quite possible it was jailbroken for research purposes (it's what those gadget scamps do for a living, after all). It's not too late for me to do the sensible thing...
