I have a mac pro airplaying to a aex , optical out to my NAD amp it good but the usb connection is better when I connect the mac , more emontinal if you know what I mean , so I went looking at streamers

This did not go well , I drove 32 miles to be informed I needed a souns 1 , I expalined again that I didnt. I wanted to see the streamers after 15 mins he said , i dont know what a airport is so I can't elp you , my mate knows this , he didnt.

Then I see a sweet looking samsung 13" 500gb at £266 , that can sit on the rack looking fine , is this the easy and best for me ?

a tiny little speaker , not what I was looking,for seen a tiny little laptop on sale that can work as a music serber , strggling to understand the whole NAS ? Streamer idea and getting bad advice in stores

That would be a Sonos Play:1, I'd have thought a Sonos Connect would make more sense. I'm with Ben, let's discuss this in the morning when you're a bit more coherent.

Okay tell me in the morning why a sonos connect is different from a airport express , and explain why a NAS is different from the HDD on my laptop , looking for improvements , or ease of use. The samsung I saw was a 13" display laptop/netbook with a 500 gb disc running windows , I figure I can load itunes on it and connect visa a usb cable , control it via the pad.

The samsung is 266 quid , ex dem , 1 TG hard drive is 130 , and I dont know how to "see" control the NAS
