Subwoofer feet !

I had sonic design the 36mm (D) x 12.5mm (H) big feet under my KRK S8.4 subwoofer

Sounded a little muddy, distorting, unprecise, changed to my inakustik xl absorbers and the sound got more controlled and precise not so much muddy as the sd feet that might not where made for speakers,a subwoofer

Is there any non expensive feet i could try for my subwoofer ?

Does your subwoofer have a downward firing port??
why the need for feet if it doesn't?

If its got a down firing port or driver, then get a concrete slab to put it on and fit some spikes to the slab. (If spikes are out of the question, then get some washing machine absorbers for both the slab and the sub)

I do use a concrete slab

Washing machine absorbers do have a big surface that has contact with my sub

I do use the inakustik feet as shown in the first post

Do to my surprice that the inakustik feet did improve over the sonic design feet i had i wonder if different feet can improve further

I tried my inakustisk feet over the sonic design feet (that might where made for hardware rather then a subwoofer) and it made a difference

They cost around 13 euros maby somthing else could make an even bigger difference for a low price, i do have the bigger more expensiveinakustic feet but not shure they will improve enough over what i use

I think you'll find most of those on Amazon or eBay.

I’m a fan of using household products rather than ‘Hifi’ designs where possible - like granite worktop savers under speakers - but subs are a particular need. I suspect the results are too room-specific to offer recommendations, as everyone has a different combination of speaker and floor.

However, this is a case where buy once might be best, and that means borrowing a decent brand from a dealer. As you say, IsoAcoustics are the top choice most often!

I didn't have a little left from the one under my hifi furniture,tt but only for 3 pieces, like the big black antivibration pads like 60x60 cm for your washing machine

Sometimes it works sometimes it don't

The last i bought 10 self adhesive black rubber feet 30mm is feairly inexpensive and hope they make a difference

These for 10 euros for 4 pieces you have to be extreme careful with, once mounted with the adhesive side, you only get it off by damaging it, that's how good it sticks to the surface you put it on, no chance of adjusting it a few mm without damaging it (a hifi product)
