Have just about got my system sounding how I want it except for a slight technical hitch, the sweet spot is about 8-12 inches foward of where I would ideally sit, how do I move the sweet spot back do I toe the speakers in or out more ?? I know I'm probably gunna get flamed and told try for yourself and see but I thought I'd ask on here first before breaking the tape measure and going the wrong way and a right mess of the new carpet ..............Thanks

no expert here but im fairly sure you need to toe the speakers outwards in this situation - if you are using spikes for the stands you should try finding the ideal position first before attaching the spikes to save your carpet.

Assuming you don't have them set so their axes intentionally cross in front of your listening position, then reducing the toe-in - ie moving them slightly towards the straight ahead position, rather than angled in - should crack it.
