AVI DM10 and AVI subwoofer review

Seems a disingenuous post to me. Ouijaboy posted similar on the AVI forum but didn't challenge Ashley at all.

Theres been lots of updates on the DM10 for the past year, so whilst a salesman at one of the few dealers may not be up to speed, I find it very hard to believe the owner of the company would do the same

1) Which salesman? Which shop? I thought AVI speakers are only sold online.

They do like to make this point... while they have several shops and one international distributor actively advertising on their own forum. I myself listened to the ADMs in Bartlett's HiFi i London about 2 years ago. Prices were the same as AVI's own when they sell direct.

So more to the point... dealer margin already built-in irrespective of where you purchase. *wink*

Not to say they are not good value for money... I think they generally are. Perhaps with exception of their sub.
