The Wedding Present : Seamonsters

An album I've owned for some time (atleast 10 years), and never played, though I did hear it around the time it was released.

I'm playing it now. *yes3*

I really don't want to like this band and I don't generally like their stuff apart from this album which is an absolute stormer. Classic in every way

Getting expensive this lark with zero self control or will power... Wish I could get a decent copy of Facelift... perhaps it will eventually be reissued...

Edit, Tomorrrow came and went and boy did it sound fantastic! Any Alice In Chains fans out there that don't have this on vinyl you're missing something special, I think I've a new favourite LP!

Eurythmics - 'Touch'

Fred Wedlock - 'Oldest Swinger In Town'

Mud - Greatest Hits

Dvorak - Symphony No.1 in C minor 'Bells of Zlonice' / LSO / Istvan Kertesz

Hovercraft - Vagus Nerve / De-Orbit Burn (Remixed by Scanner) 12"

Came home to find The White Stripes on my doorstep..... (if only !!) Well. The John Peel Sessions vinyl at least. Thankfully it ended up being around just shy of £40 from some shop in "A Merry Car" via Discogs. Wasn't going to pay the price tag they had on eBay over here. Delivered in 5 days and no taxes to pay which made me a happy boy.

Some are better than others, but they can be fantastic. You have to get up early though, and they'll be a lot of competition for the good records from dealers, and fellow music lovers.

2Xperience SB DC in Walnut, obviously working for Henley I get to fettle with the entire range on a daily basis, but this is still my favourite turntable. Uncluttered. Simple. Great starting point if you like to tinker. I'm a lucky boy as it was a very attractive price due to the rear corner being slightly scuffed so un-sellable - not that you can see it unless you hold the deck upside down !! Currently partnered with a Black Cube SE and 2M Black which suit's my ears and music tastes to a tee.

Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else

Tina Brooks - True Blue

Dexter Gordon - GO

Hank Mobley - Soul Station

Wayne Shorter - Speak No Evil
