After a lot of reading and over the last few weeks some viewing in different stores ive narrowed my tv choice down to four these being the Panasonic Tx-p50vt20b, LG 47lx9900, Samsung Ps50c7000 and Samsung UE46c8000 but i cant make my mind up i can get them all for approximately the same price after a lot of shopping around and some haggling any suggestions where my money goes? Thanks

I bought the Panasonic. I'm led to believe that there are a couple of sets that have received better reviews, and concede this could be the case. But every time I watch it, I'm taken aback by how good the picture is. None of the threatened problems seem to have materialised (blacks becoming less deep etc) despite six months' heavy use.

Thanks think I've narrowed it down to the LG and the Panasonic but I cannot make my mind up! Can get them for the same price virtually both around £1200 anyone own the LG?

Samsung C7000 has been rated the best buy by some reviewers. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these TVs (the Pana VT20, LG PX990 or the Samsung). Do a side by side comparison & see. LG's passive 3D technology may be more comfortable to watch, but that's a personal preference.

Viewed the LG at a local tv shop and was slightly disappointed beautiful tv but picture although incredibly detailed wasn't anywhere near the Panasonic as far as i was concerned but then might just be how they were set up! So its looking like the Panasonic i am considering waiting for the new 30 to be released but then prices i saw online were around 2300 and i can get the 20 for half that unsure if it will be worth that much extra!
