Any particular reason it has to be battery powered?Hi this is my first post on the what hifi forum : ) hello everyone
Anyone aware of a good battery powered turntable lamp. I’ve seen the Nessie Audiolighting LED Lamp but there doesn’t seem to be anything else out there?
Many thanks

Have a look and see what CPC have got available.

P.S. I like George Duke too 👍

Keep watching this thread for links.......
The Nessie it says comes with double sided adhesive pads that attach to its magnet thing, so it can be used as a turntable lamp. Not just for use with the record cleaning machines.Any particular reason it has to be battery powered?
The Nessie is designed to work on a record cleaning machine
so why not buy it??The Nessie it says comes with double sided adhesive pads that attach to its magnet thing, so it can be used as a turntable lamp. Not just for use with the record cleaning machines.
I really don’t fancy sticking adhesive pads on my Clearaudio turntableso why not buy it??
Will it not sit beside rather than on?I really don’t fancy sticking adhesive pads on my Clearaudio turntable
Its specifications would indicate it isn’t tall enough. I suppose maybe it could magnetically attached to a little square of metal with a felt base? Will it not sit beside rather than on?
Get your shed set up....I think there’s definitely a market for a good freestanding turntable lamp, small, solid and bright.
I guess most people that need one are still using their old anglepoise lamps....Get your shed set up....![]()
I was actually looking at them yesterday lolI guess most people that need one are still using their old anglepoise lamps....
A good quality headtorch should do the job....Battery powered torch?
it's what I used to use....I was actually looking at them yesterday lol
Those little night lights look great 👍Maybe you've already seen these, some are 'rechargeable':
I bought a couple of black ones of these, suited my purpose with a bit of adaption (I hacked off the USB connector) ....as long as they get 5v DC from somewhere:
...loads of this type of thing. Easily adapted to suit:![]()
