Hi this is my first post on the what hifi forum : ) hello everyone

Anyone aware of a good battery powered turntable lamp. I’ve seen the Nessie Audiolighting LED Lamp but there doesn’t seem to be anything else out there?

Many thanks

"a good battery powered turntable lamp"

I've heard it ALL now, hahahahaha ! Magic !

I merely pointed to the website to show some examples. If that's not OK, by all means delete. I didn't want to grab pictures and violate someone's copyright.

I'm sure there's a market for decent turntable lights that work in a similar fashion as the vintage Lencolamp.

Old thread but this what I use. Rechargeable, 80hours use according to manual.

The ring lights are USB powered (or rechargeable, like the one on the right).
Some can be switched between cool or warm white and have touch dimmers.

For those into a bit of anti-waste DIY;
Often when an LED mains type GU10 fails, the low voltage LEDs themselves are still fine - rip off the mains part and give them around 9v DC from a power supply.

The neighbour wondered why I wanted her two dead bulbs...one ended up on a bit of Meccano, the other replaced one of those 12v, 20W red hot halogens in the mauve light 🤪

Use of remote DC power supplies avoids any hum pickup from close proximity mains lights.
