I've only had one! I think it was a cheap as chips Technics SL-B200 which I upgraded with an Ortofon OM10 cartridge, best value upgrade I ever made.

I think I've still got it somewhere, minus the Ortofon - my brother stole that.

One of my shorter lists!

Pioneer PL12D

Sansui P-D15 (which got replaced by the return of the PL12D)

Thorens TD150 (should have kept this one)

Project Debut 3 *

Project Genie 3 (broke)

Michell Tecno-Dec (definitely should have kept this one)

Rega RP3/Elys24 *

* = still got it.

The best? Probably a toss-up between the Thorens and the Michell (the latter certainly wins for engineering quality) with the Rega slightly behind.

Yep the SL1200 went 15 years ago, I was practically on the bones of my arse - fast forward 14 years and got an RP1 to re kindle my interest in vinyl

Over the same 20 year period as my speaker list, I would say

LP12/Basik/AT95

Xerxes/RB300/ATOC7

Xerxes/SMEV/Kiseki PHS

SME 20A/Koetsu Red Signature.

Actually this was really just the first 10 years, I have not had a turntable since around the turn of the century.

A bit if a shorter list for me....in order:

Pioneer PL12D (my father's, so I didn't actually own it)

JVC QLA220

Ariston Q Deck

Heybrook TT2 / Linn Basik LVX

Linn LP12 / Ittok

Clearaudio Emotion

Michell Gyro SEduction / Tecno A

After the LP12, I could've owned a Trio/Kenwood L07 - which I wished I'd have bought....

I've got a Hitachi PS-38 I inherited. I'm not overly impressed with its sound but I know vey little about turntables to work out whether its in need of a new stylus (it has a shure cartridge) or not, I know they sell for a decent amount online ~£250 so would asume it should sound better than it does

Dansette Viva

Some Ferguson replacement when the Dansette sadly went

A Ferguson radiogram

Fisher MT-125

Thorens TD-280 Mk IV

Rega P3

My favourites were the Dansette and the Fisher. The Dansette belonged to my mum and dad, and the Fisher my dad bought for me along with the rest of our first proper stereo in 1982.
