Judee Sill - Heart Food

Crystal clear and sparkling via Tidal. Floating out of my speakers.

Nice... my favourite track of hers is "Jesus was a crossmaker"

Actually this one's been the album of the week! At home and in the car.

Since seeing Hans Zimmer live on Tuesday (whoop whoop) in Birmingham, it's been a week full of Inception, Interstellar and Dark Knight soundtracks, particularly Dark Knight as before the concert I knew that one the least.

Interesting that Christopher Nolan wanted Hans to collaborate with James Newton Howard on Dark Knight, one of my other favourite film score composers.

My ears are still recovering from the concert. Note to self: take ears plugs next time.

I quite like the Black Hawk Down soundtrack.

Underworld - second toughest in the infants. This could be my all-time favourite album, OF ALL TIME!

It's certainly very good. I'd love it on vinyl.

Beautiful album...oh and Astral weeks by Van morrison is one of my faves...saw some earlier posts and a few don't like it...neither did I at first..it is a grower and needs time like a fine wine or good ale.lol.best listened to on a bit of the black stuff.

I'll get to that one at some point. I've been working my way through Zimmer's albums on Tidal. Then when i've finished I'll start on James Newton Howard, then Dario Marianelli, Alexandre Desplat...

The Owl Service - enjoyed reading it many, many years ago. As for the band - am listening as I type - quality stuff. Love "Polly on the shore" in particular even with its vinyl pops & crackles!
