The Unthanks

Diversions Vol. 1

The Songs of Robert Wyatt and Antony & The Johnsons

A live album, and among my top 10 favourite albums. It's not on Tidal so have to resort to CD for this one.

Quite a fan of The Unthanks will check these out.

it's worth a look Mac. The Unthanks' repertoire seems virtually non-existent on Tidal and I remember when I was using Spotify that only a few of their albums were present. Not sure if they're just not keen on streaming. I'll have to ask them next time I see them live. But this live album does play to their strengths: including their delightful mid-song humour and of course, the clog dancing!

Rosalia de Souza - d'improvviso

This album is so effortlessly chic. She's far cooler than I'll ever be.

The Crusaders - Southern Comfort

Wow! Forgotten all about that one. Used to love listening to this album back in the late 70s at uni. Also loved Larry Carlton's virtuoso contributions to Joni Mitchell's 'Court and Spark'. Anyone know how Jomi's doing by the way. Last I heard, she was very ill.
