Question Wall mounted speakers?

I keep surveying my living room (5.3 x 3.8m) and getting ever more depressed about buying new speakers. I'd like standmounts but there's no way to place them properly without a radical rearrangement that neither of us want.
Are there any half decent bookshelf speakers I can mount fairly high (and close to) a wall?
Thanks - S

Dali menuet /se,....but I wouldn't wall mount speakers, it's to important to me and other stuff would have to move and make way for my system...that's just the way it is.
Thanks. So is it safe to say you have no personal experience of these speakers? Perhaps you know someone who has them.

Granted, but I have little choice. The best wall mounting brackets can be adjusted to aim speakers downward, so I imagine that would be ok.

You could look at on-wall speakers. They're essentially a bookshelf speakers in a flatter format, albeit a little wider and a little taller. They're designed to be mounted flat to the wall, so better to not be too high for stereo use, but you'll usually experience tailed off bass extension, as they're really designed to be used with a subwoofer (for AV and media walls etc). Some of the more expensive ones may have enough extension to be used without.
