waiting for v20 50in need advice

my living room is 11 ft by 9ft a need to know the best viewing distance for a 50in and 42in before a splash out on a unit or wall bracket thanks wots the best panasonic surround system blue ray ,or unit or wall bracket

yea id agree with bb , 9ft should be perfect for a 50in , 6 ft is a little close unless you mainly watch hd though imo..

as for the viewing distance i thing its a bit close 9ft .... 9ft = 2,7 meters right ?

for me at least 3 meters for 50" but that depends a lot of you personal tastes, viewing preferences , room placement , decor , etc etc
