hi,my current system is a cambridge audio 740c cd player...740a amp...quad 11ls speakers..black rodium ast200 speaker cable.cambridge interconects...

I need advice regarding what piece i should upgrade ..ie..speakers or amp....cheers,phil

What do you want to change or improve about the sound? I've owned everything in your system at one time or another so should be able to help with a bit more information. What music do you listen to?

Speakers for sure.

Assuming you want similar sized speakers then PMC DB1i come to mind. (The only ones out of the 'usual suspects' that I have heard but they were fantastic.)

They seem to like being 3.5 inches or 8cm from a wall (with no toe-in) so if that is not practical then I guess a more unfussy speaker in the same price range.

What size room and what budget?
