Bluetooth and DAC

Spoke too soon! I'm still getting the tracks jumping, now on every track. I guess that's not the Wiim, rather the wi-fi connection or the phone?

I've just tried to stream a flac file from phone to a Wiim Mini through the Wiim app and had no skipping. (Sorry I completely forgot the Wiim app could stream from local files, because it is not something I do.)

If you did not use the Wiim app, try it.

I'm using the Wiim Home app. I'm going to try a different android phone to see if the problem is with the phone. I really appreciate all the help

I changed media player, and it all seems to work exactly as it should. Hopefully that's the final bit of the jigsaw.
