Denon 1909 was described as "Robust desiagn, rich presentation, weighty sound but not as dynamic, detailed or musical..."

Denon 1910 was just reviewed as "Hugely entertaining sound, tight, punchy bass, unbelievable of details..."

It seems like Denon 1910 is a vast improvement of new Denon AVR .....

But,from what I understand, both of them have the similar sound characteristic but more features of 1910 especially the ABT chip, agree??

Any comments??

A lot of tuning's gone on between the AVR-1909 and the AVR-1910 - Denon's kept the positive characteristics of the former - notably the weight and authority - but given the latter a faster, tighter and more detailed twist.

It seems many manufacturers have looked at the success of the fast, punchy Onkyos and injected some of that action into their traditionally more sedate offerings!
