let me try i did not forgot it thank youSo when you add a second sub, what does the frequency response look like?

exact sameSo when you add a second sub, what does the frequency response look like?
cant do that as i dont have space for this big subwoofer. my room is only 11.70x10.70 feetObviously those are predicted responses, but you'll need to move the second sub around a bit to balance out the nulls and peaks in the room so wherever you're sat (within reason) the bass response is consistent.
i did it already but it makes bass very bad. deepness of bass is ruinedCan you use the Parametric EQ on the SVS app to raise the frequency where you have a null?
80hz dip may be because of speaker crossed at 80hzHmm, I would have thought careful manipulation of the frequencies and gain around 80hz would have helped. Bother. Hmm, tough one to sort it seems.
yes lfe default at 120hz in avrYou have the LFE crossover set to 120hz and the speaker crossovers at 80hz?
the one i bought dali opticon 2 from he said i made mistake by buying ported 2000 in untreated room. he said sb 1000 pro was fine that too single. I can sell this and get 2xsb1000 pro as well. But will they give same deep oomph in movies like pb 2000 pro does? I am used to it nowYou could try the crossover at 90hz and but that might give away the position of the sub rather than blending in.
Adding a second sub will give you a little more volume but not more depth.
Maybe your room is more suited to a single sub?
Not sure what else to suggest, requires someone with more knowledge than myself I suspect!
Try to match this to 80Hz and see how that works.yes lfe default at 120hz in avr
speaker crossover and LFE both are different . do u want both at 80hz? What difference it will have?Try to match this to 80Hz and see how that works.
Most sound engineers roll off the effects at 80Hz. It's just trial and error to see if it sounds any different.speaker crossover and LFE both are different . do u want both at 80hz? What difference it will have?
Best is to demo and see. Dual is more likely to give better performance by giving a smoother frequency response, reduced room modes, a larger "sweet spot" for optimal sound, more even bass distribution throughout a room, and the ability to better preserve stereo bass cues, resulting in a more immersive and accurate listening experience.1x pb 3000 pro will have more power noticable ? or 2 xpb 2000 pro
you are talking about that option which is below lfe/lfe+mains option right? not speaker crossover? Most sound engineers roll off the effects at 80Hz. It's just trial and error to see if it sounds any different.
Yes, LFE, not speaker crossover.you are talking about that option which is below lfe/lfe+mains option right? not speaker crossover?
There's more to it than that, as to why people prefer going for a second subwoofer even in small rooms. As owner of an old PB2000 I find any talk of having more of this or 2 of this so funny. I can damage walls with this thing. Why would you damage your house structurally unless you rent. I guess if I rented I would be on the Ultra subs by now but with even a single old non app based PB2000 there is not any chance of maxing it out without breaking every single window in the house.
what you are saying maybe right but yours maybe rectangular room that too dedicated treated room. My room is square 11.7x10.7x10 and normal bedroom untreated. I tried many weeks sub crawl with room eq but all failed there was no bass at my MLP i tried different mlps but no. audeseey failed big time there was no bass i could hear only 10%. Only dirac live saved me on exact same mlp. I am satisfied.
