Hi all I'm looking for a bit of advice about sub placement.
Last night we experimented in my son's bedroom with a right mismatch of speakers setting up surround sound to go with his projector. Annoyingly the Disney + app on pc doesn't do 5.1 so we brought his PS4 into the bedroom.
He aims to get the same model of AV receiver he has in the cellar but used from eBay and set it up with monitor audio mass 5.1.
I've suggested putting the sub in the space behind his bed that I'm turning into a bed come sofa, he has suggested putting it next to his wardrobe and under his projector screen.
Which would be the best place?
As you can see from the photos a right mismatch of speakers when we experimented but it was just proof of concept and for his room I think the B&W vision DS2 (the first pair of speakers I ever bought 33 year old now) produced too much bass.
I know have to alter the SIM rig I made for him to fit the AV receiver and PS4.
To think he originally bought the projector and screen just so he could watch early morning F1 races.
Thanks in advance for any advice
Nick
