For a few months my son has had a projector in his bedroom with a 100" screen. He decided at the weekend to invite some friends round for a film night but wanted his projector in the cellar using his 66” screen.
I had to hastily cobble together a ceiling mount for the projector a quick trip down to B&Q for bits of metal. I probably finished it 1/2 and hour before his friends arrived. I tried to convince him to just use his 43” pc monitor.
I was shocked at how far I had to tilt the projector for it to line up with the screen. I knew I would have to tilt it a bit, you can probably imagine how much keystone adjustment was needed.
Any way I'm now looking for recommendations for a folding (not telescopic) ceiling mount that can position the projector at a more reasonable height for less keystone adjustment and then just swing up out of the way when not in use
Unfortunately the ideal position for the projector is on a table in front of a sofa that can't be moved and would be liable to getting kicked by anyone sat in the sofa
